ben & alli

Ben and I have been married for a little over 3 years. We were married by my dad in the most beautiful of places, Summerall Chapel at The Citadel (Ben's alumni) on July 13th. I am shamelessly obsessed with my husband! Our marriage is far from perfect, but we are best friends, lovers, and we laugh ALL THE TIME. His heart is so amazing, and I absolutely adore him.


Rewind 20 something years....

We were both miracle babies from the start! I escaped abortion and was placed into the adoptive home of the most perfect parents for me, Mike and Laura Hamlet.  God hand-picked them to be my parents, and I am so very thankful. Ben fought hard and survived cancer as a small child.  He was at MUSC (where our sweet Ben will be) for a few years receiving his treatment.

As you can see, we are a family of fighters, and a family of miracles.  This is now our journey down a rough path, but fighting and God's miracles are truly all we know, so this is just another chapter.

The story of Ben and Alli is still unfolding, as you can see/read. I can't wait to see what God has in the following chapters of our lives! Stay tuned, friends!
